Builder Tries to Sell ‘Very Ice’ Igloo on Rightmove

The 'deceptively spacious' home was 'available for a limited period' - go figure!

Heavy snow can be pretty disastrous for a tradie. With ice and slush on the roads it can be difficult or even dangerous to get out to customers, who aren’t always sympathetic when they don’t get their work finished.

Still, they say that one of the best ways to deal with a problem is to treat it as an opportunity. This is exactly what one cheeky Burton builder did last week by advertising a homemade igloo on Rightmove – with a chilling asking price of £50K!

The igloo, located in Market Place, Burton, boasted a modern white interior, a walk in fridge freezer, full air conditioning and ‘parking for one sledge’.

‘Available for a limited period. A deceptively spacious home ideal for the outdoors type.

‘Buy now before the market hots up! Call Abode to book a viewing today before it’s gone.’

Advertised as a ‘freezehold’, the ‘hand built’ igloo appeared on Thursday 1st, but has since disappeared.

Typical really: the coolest properties always get snapped up quickly.
